Arctic Tale

In "Arctic Tale" there were two polar bear cubs and their mom as well as a baby walrus and her mom. In this movie it showed how both babies grew up and survived in the Arctic. At first they were survived without difficulty, but soon the effects of global warming were put into action. The polar bears needed thick ice to capture their prey, the walruses, but the ice was melting very quickly and the polar bears began to starve. Because of this one of the polar bears fell weak and died. But the other baby cub, Nanu and his mom continued on and tried to find food. Because of this change in weather the mom could no longer take care of Nanu, so he had to be separated from his mom much earlier and continue on his own path. As for Seela, the baby Walrus, she had no ice to rest on since it was all melting so she and the other walruses traveled to some place where they could rest. In the process Seela got separated from her mom and her auntie had to take care of her. Overall, this taught me how much Global Warming is effecting the world. Over 130 species are being extinct every day due to the change in weather. 14% of the arctic ice is melting every year. How will the arctic animals survive? At this rate the world will flood in 30 years. There are only 22,000 polar bears left worldwide. Polar bears and Walruses are being added to the endangered species and will likely become extinct be the end of the century. In conclusion, the Earth is headed for another mass extinction due to Global Warming and we need to stand up and take action.
